The General Management of OMBG S.r.l. defines its Quality Policy within a broader vision of the company's overall strategy and market positioning.

The company's strategy is based on the following general principles:

• Carrying out its activities with the aim of achieving tangible and lasting results.

• Delivering products that comply with the highest quality standards.

• Investing in the education and training of human resources, which represent the core of its production activities, in order to enhance overall professional competence and create an efficient workforce.

• Placing on the market products that comply with eco-sustainability requirements in terms of construction materials, raw materials, packaging, and components.

• Monitoring its business context, risk and opportunity status, and the needs and expectations of interested parties.

To this end, the company defines its Quality Policy through a commitment to achieving full customer satisfaction and improving its performance by aiming to:

• Meet customer expectations, including those not explicitly stated.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.

• Fulfill requirements related to fitness for use, performance, safety, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

• Meet the needs of society, particularly regarding environmental protection, health, and the safety of people and property.

• Promote the evolution of the company culture toward Total Quality Management.

• Comply with mandatory European Union regulatory requirements.

To achieve these objectives, OMBG S.r.l. undertakes to:

• Involve all personnel through continuous information and training activities.

• Establish an organizational structure aimed at implementing the principles expressed above.

• Provide adequate equipment and resources suitable for the company’s operational reality.

• Maintain constant control over the implementation of the Quality Manual.

• Periodically review the conformity of the Management System with company policy and make any necessary organizational and technical changes.

• Periodically review objectives through top management with the aim of ensuring continuous improvement of company activities.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The General Management of OMBG S.r.l. defines its Environmental Policy within a broader vision of the company's overall strategy and market positioning.

The company strategy is based on the following principles:

• Maintaining compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and other internally adopted requirements.

• Pursuing continuous improvement focused on the prevention and reduction of environmental impacts and pollution associated with production activities.

• Identifying and assessing environmental impacts and risks arising from incidents, potential accidents, and emergency situations.

• Monitoring its business context, risk and opportunity status, and the needs and expectations of interested parties.

Following a thorough Environmental Analysis of its production activities, OMBG S.r.l. has identified priority areas for action and is committed to:

• Maintaining the effectiveness of its Environmental Management System by applying all requirements of UNI EN ISO 14001 and the provisions contained in the Environmental Management System Manual.

• Communicating this policy to all interested parties, including customers, suppliers, employees, and the public.

• Continuously adapting to evolving social and legislative environmental requirements, anticipating them where possible through appropriate planning and initiatives.

• Periodically reviewing objectives through top management to ensure continuous improvement of the management system.

• Promoting awareness within the company regarding environmental protection issues and related technical and organizational disciplines.

• Encouraging and fostering environmental responsibility among all employees through information and training programs.

• Increasing the competence and awareness of internal personnel regarding the application of company environmental protection rules.

• Reducing water, electricity, and natural fuel consumption while maintaining process requirements.

• Continuously reducing the use of substances considered potentially hazardous.

• Researching and utilizing alternative construction materials that are increasingly respectful of the environment and human health, in compliance with European regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and related directives.

 

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY 

In line with its mission and business strategy, OMBG S.r.l. considers Quality as the ability to provide products that meet customer expectations and therefore regards it as a key factor for organizational success. At the same time, the company believes that the legitimate pursuit of profit must be accompanied by a strong commitment to society, particularly toward the employees whose daily work enables the company to operate.

To this end, OMBG S.r.l. bases its activities on the following values:

• Prohibition of exposing children and young workers to dangerous, hazardous, or health-damaging situations, either inside or outside the workplace.

• Guarantee that all work is performed voluntarily and free from coercion.

• Provision of a healthy and safe working environment in compliance with applicable regulations, with particular attention to risk assessment, risk management, and adequate health and safety training.

• Full respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

• Absolute rejection of any form of discrimination.

• Absolute rejection of disciplinary practices that fail to respect the physical, moral, and emotional integrity of workers. Therefore, management does not tolerate, either internally or within its supply chain, disciplinary practices that violate fundamental human rights.

• Compliance with applicable national and local laws regarding working hours and remuneration.

• Continuous improvement of the occupational health, safety, and social responsibility management system in order to eliminate identified shortcomings and remain aligned with employee needs.

• Involvement of suppliers and subcontractors in implementing and adhering to this policy.

• Promotion of the principles contained in this social policy throughout the entire supply chain.

• Achieving and maintaining the highest possible safety standards through the best available technologies to protect the health and safety of people.

• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations concerning accident prevention, occupational health, and workplace safety.

• Continuous monitoring of the company’s safety system with the involvement of all designated functions, including the Occupational Physician, Health and Safety Manager, and Workers’ Safety Representative.

• Achieving valid and sustainable results through collaboration, self-monitoring, and the accountability of all employees.

• Training and raising awareness among all employees regarding the correct use of machinery, personal protective equipment (PPE), and potential workplace risks through procedures, instructions, and other effective communication channels.
